Carry on ideas for 13 year old?

Hey guys! In two weeks I'm leaving for Florida to see my family and my dad who's on leave from Afghanistan. I'm 13, and I am not easily amused. My flight is at 9:30 in the morning, it's on Southwest & I know they don't have much in flight entertainment. My flight is around 4 hours and 40 minutes, and I don't sleep AT ALL on planes. So, I was wondering if any of you had any ideas for what to put in my carryon, besides my iPod. Oh, and anything you think I should put in my carry on instead of my suitcase just in case of lost luggage? Thanks in advance :)
