What energy transfers happen when riding a bike?

For science i had to make a bike and turn it into a pulley system i did. But i need to find out the energy transfers evolved. So when i pedal the bake wheel spins pulling down the rope which then goes through a pulley and lifts the object. So what are the energy transfers in this? as im struggling and my teacher isn't being helpful! Thanks.
