Packing my suitcase for my holiday?

in august i'm going to France (Paris) for a week and i've already started to organize what i'll be taking so that i don't forget anything. if you were going with me what would you take personally? so that i know what much clothing etc. to take. the clothes can be washed where we'll be staying at too.
